Astrofest - Science for Child 2025
A week-long science festival has been organized for school students by the joint initiative of Alliance Française de Dhaka and Bangladesh Astronomical Association.
Those interested in participating in ASTROFEST : SCIENCE FOR CHILD must register their names online. There is no fee for this.

Date: 19 May 2025, Monday to 24 May 2025
First Session:
- 5:00 PM to 5:40 PM - Rocket Model Making Workshop.
Second Session:
- 5:40 PM to 6:10 PM - Puppet Show and Magic Demonstration by Arif Asgar
Third Session:
- 6:10 PM to 7:00 PM - Science Discussion
- Galileo Galilei - Sameeo Sheesh
- Tasmia Tasnim - History of Telescopes
- Tryana Alzena - Worm Holes
Fourth Session:
7:00 PM - Inauguration of the Poster Exhibition. The topic of the poster is: Bangladesh Astronomical Association: 37 years of journey.
Fifth Session:
7:20 PM to 8:30 PM. - Sky observation through the telescope. (Subject to the sky being cloudless)
- The number of seats is limited. Participants will be registered on a first-come, first-served basis.
- School students must register. Accompanying parents do not need to register.
- Each participating student will be given a certificate.
- Once registration is complete, everyone will be notified by email on Sunday, May 11, 2025.
- No subscription fee is required for participation.
